Some wounds, from varying causes, take time and careful attention to heal. Unfortunately, a majority of the medical services throughout the Middle East and Asia are just ill-equipped to handle patients who suffer from complex trauma. Because of this, amputation becomes the only necessary option.
In the United States, however, advancements have been made in medicine and reconstructive surgery that enable physicians to heal without the need to remove a limb or section of the body.
If you are a patient based in India, Jordan, and Oman, and are in need of immediate care, allow my team and me to find you a specialist who can heal your body before it is too late.
Our clinic specializes in comprehensive wound healing. We are focused on the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds including:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Venous ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Post-surgical wounds that refuse to heal
- Arterial/ischemic ulcers
- Post-radiation ulcers
About the Treatment
Specialists in Wound Care and Amputation Prevention often use surgical and non- surgical techniques, such as:
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBO) This treatment is administered in a hyperbaric chamber that delivers 100% oxygen with increased atmospheric pressure.
- Wound examination and measurement.
- Blood flow inspection
At the Amputation Prevention Center and Wound Care, a multidisciplinary team of physicians will determine the best treatment plan for you. The center is composed of plastic surgeons, surgical podiatrists, wound care specialists, and vascular specialists who have spared many patients from amputation.
Your road to recovery begins with a consultation over Skype. This lasts between 15 – 20 minutes and will allow me to learn about your condition and medical history. Once I have the information, we will discuss your treatment options.
I will then connect you to an appropriate specialist who can address your immediate needs. Another consultation will be scheduled over Skype and will enable your specialist to discuss your treatment in greater detail.
Once we have finalized your treatment plans, your procedure will be scheduled, and we will begin to plan your stay in the United States.
It is important to remember that upon your flight to the country, you must hand carry the following:
