Introduction

Some wounds, from varying causes, take time and careful attention to heal. Unfortunately, a majority of the medical services throughout the Middle East and Asia are just ill-equipped to handle patients who suffer from complex trauma. Because of this, amputation becomes the only necessary option.

In the United States, however, advancements have been made in medicine and reconstructive surgery that enable physicians to heal without the need to remove a limb or section of the body.

If you are a patient based in India, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman , and many more countries, and are in need of immediate care, allow my team and I to find you a specialist who can heal your body before it is too late.

Wound Care

About the Treatment

Our wound care and amputation prevention center specializes in comprehensive wound healing where a multidisciplinary team of physicians will determine the best treatment plan for you. The center is composed of plastic surgeons, surgical podiatrists, wound care specialists, and vascular specialists who have spared many patients from amputation. They are focused on the treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds including:

  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Venous ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Post-surgical wounds that refuse to heal
  • Arterial/ischemic ulcers
  • Post-radiation ulcers

Specialists in Wound Care and Amputation Prevention often use surgical and non-surgical techniques to reduce healing time and improve healing rates, such as:

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBO)
This treatment is administered in a hyperbaric chamber that delivers 100% oxygen with increased atmospheric pressure to promote wound healing and fight infections.
  • Wound Examination and Measurement.
  • Blood Flow Inspection
  • Infection Control
  • Skin Substitutes
  • Debridement
  • Foot Reconstruction
